Newman Global Communications (@ Rebecca Newswoman) combines academic research and journalistic storytelling to inform people about how language and culture shape global affairs and human rights.

Becca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies, concentrating in Human Rights & Global Justice, with minors in French and Fine Arts. Her internship at the United Nations, specifically with UN Academic Impact and the Human Rights & Education Outreach Section, deepened her understanding of the world through learning from diverse perspectives.

NGC follows trhe Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics (updated Oct. 4, 2026) and utilizes original visuals including photography and illustrations. NGC follows an anthro-journalism approach in which stories are reported through the ethnography method (what?), history (how?)and investigation (who?).

Since stories are focused on observational and interview experiences, I give full transparency and agency to the person I am interviewing.

Newman Global Communications is an evolving exploration of ideas, cultures, and stories. We hope to make complex topics engaging, accessible, and worth discussing. Thanks for stopping by! Be curious, ask questions, and explore.
